In April's little world, you know you've been working too hard when...
1) You stagger home by 11pm and your mom/husband/boyfriend/dog goes, "Wah! Back so early ah?"
2) Your last delicious, home-cooked meal dates back to the time your grandmother was still getting laid. (Urgh. Ok, that was a GROSS exaggeration in all aspects but you get the picture!)
3) Your social circle has wittled down to your colleagues, your clients, your suppliers and whatever imaginery friends your fucked-up brain has conjured up.
4) Your diet consists primarily of pizza and Chinese take-out and pizza and Chinese take-out and pizza... Since no-fucking-where-else delivers to your office.
5) You find a need to maintain 2 pots of moisturizer/tubes of toothpaste/bottles of vaginal douche/boxes of tampons etc... 1 for the home and 1 for the office.
6) You turn up at 9.30pm for dinner and your friends go, "Hey! You're only 2 hours late!"
7) Your constant bed companion is a mind-melting migraine instead of a bout of mind-blowing monkey sex.
8) You have enough potato chips/cup noodles/instant soup/chocolates bars in your office drawer to wait out a 3rd world war.
9) Your room starts to looks uncomfortably and unnaturally neat after the clutter of your desk.
10) You contemplate investing in a portable TV, just so you can work till past 10pm on Monday nights, and still be able to catch "Desperate Housewives" on Channel 5.
Sigh...
April wants to go on leave. April desperately needs a vacation. Especially since April can't seem to stop referring to herself in the 3rd person. April is going off to her photoshoot now. April will blog another time.
Absolutely April. Absolutely Nuts. :(

all hope is not lost. it IS the weekend.
yea, the weekend ...
why not plan a weekend get-away?
Well April, it's June now.
So you ARE two months overdriven, lol.
Aw, poor April. I totally sympathise.
April, don't intend to make you jealous, but I am having my holidays and I am quite bored at home. Need some help with your work? I am chronically unemployed. You can help me out. =P
Missduhr / Gold - April needs more than just a weekend away after 10 months of no leave.
GlassDog - April is not amused. :P
Slinky Cat - April appreciates your sympathy. Especially since April knows that you're stressed out at work too.
EK - April would help you out, as well as accept your help if she could. April is, however, not in a position to do either. *sulks*
Absolutely April. Absolutely Annoyed At Work.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who's working late these days...
I once took out my staff pass to "unlock" my house door and house keys to "access" the office.
I think if your dog really does say "Wah! Back so early ah?" you should be concerned.
you really should take leave.. from your parents..
hmm i wouldn't mind swapping with you though.. haha..
Kelly - Thankfully, April hasn't reached that stage yet. ;)
A Zhaki - Actually, April would be more impressed than concerned. Hot damn... A talking dog would probably mean that April could quit her job and tour the world. Haaaaaah! :P
Cruiser - April's parents are not the cause of her stress levels. Come to think of it, April's parents barely see her so they couldn't stress her out even if they wanted to.
Ok, I'll stop talking about myself in the 3rd person now. It gets annoying having to think about how to type it after a while. :P
Absolutely April. Absolutely Glad It's The Weekend. :D
