About My Dungeons

Waaah... I haven't blogged in ages. Wanna know why? I have, over the weekend, rediscovered the joy of playing Dungeon Keeper and Dungeon Keeper 2. The game that, in the past, provided my brother and I hours of fun as we struggled to build the best dungeons with the strongest minions for the ultimate battle to the death... Very bloodthirsty, slightly warped (In the game, you actually want evil to triumph over good!) and fan-fucking-tastic.

The beautiful, serene, peace-loving world you're to destroy... The lands in that horrid brown color indicate the places you've already plundered, murdered and taken over... *evil laughter*

A dungeon's training room... Where the minions you select build up their prowess to aid in your bloody battles... My favorite of the lot? Check out the chickie who's the 4th from the left. The Dark Mistress kicks ass!!!

The temple... Where your dungeon's vampires can brood... Or, if you've captured and coverted those saintly monks from the lands' goodly rulers...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Couple of my favorite minions... Bile Demons, lurking around in a dungeon's treasury as they await pay day...

Every Dungeon Keeper's most-loved and most-hated minion. The Horn Reaper. Big, scary, powerful and utterly insane. He'll cut through your enemies like water but can just as easily turn the tables around and start attacking his fellow dungeon mates. I love him!

Yes, yes, snigger away. I know I'm terribly out of touch because I'm stuck on games that were released eons ago. But my computer's graphic card is pathetic and most of the newer games won't run on my PC. *bleah*

I wish I still had the luxury of time to indulge in 18 hours of non-stop game play. You know... When there are only 2 reasons you get up from the computer - To go to the toilet or your eyes can't stay open any longer so you allow yourself a paltry few hours of sleep before you drag yourself out of bed and plop your butt down in front of the screen again. Heh heh...

Ah damn... Gotta run for a meeting with a client. I hate it when I have to present and "sell" creatives I so know aren't gonna take off. It's like handing the client an umbrella just before you bend over and ask them to shove it up your ass.

About Plugging In (Part 3)

Been listening to an awful lot of English music recently... Which never seems to soothe me as well as some of my favorite Chinese artists. Heh... So since I needed to block out all the surrounding noise this morning as I hammered out a Creative Brief, I added a whole slew of ching-chong songs to my "On-The-Go" playlist.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
(Jay Baby! Heh!) 以父之名, 止战之伤, 三年二班, 园游会, 搁浅

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
(Li Sheng Jie... Angst lah!) 痴心绝对, 手放开

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
(Landy Wen... La di da...) 祝我生日快乐, 北斗星

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
(David Tao! Uh huh!) 爱我还是他

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
(Ou De Yang... And more angst!) 孤单北半球

About Bali Again

Yes, all the photos I have on hand are up on Flickr. For those of you too lazy to check em out 1 by 1, here're some of the highlights.

From the bloody early blastoff...
(Click to read my earlier post)

Here's me and Jas @ Changi Airport's sunflower garden, looking slightly more alive after our morning coffee and cigarette...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
The 3 little piggies are very happy to have finally touched down in Bali... Oink oink!

From the bonding sessions and bootcamp...
(Click to read my earlier post)

Me and my "mates"... Hot, stinky, sweaty and very relieved that our little "team bonding" session was over...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
The little piggies again at our 1st dinner @ Club Med... After a much needed dip in the pool and a long, hot shower...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Check out all the damn drinks on the table... And that's just from 1 of the 30-something bottles of hard liquor that we brought up... Wah kao...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Anthony poses for a shot... Jiun looks extremely chirpy (probably cos she was halfway smashed by the time this was taken) and Debbie looks extremely perplexed... *whistles innocently*

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Since the in-house production of "Lord of the Dance" was so horrific, Jas and I decided it'd be more entertaining to take pictures of ourselves instead of the performers...

From the beddy bye bye...
(Click to read my earlier post)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Jas, totally tired out from her day, fell asleep with her lollipop stick as a bed mate... Guess the she didn't think the men were exciting enough...

From Bali shopping and bargaining...

Me and my favorite Art Director... *grins* Man, if his wife ever sees this, he is so screwed. Cheeky little bugger...

From the booze fest and boogie woogie...

All the girls went nuts as our favorite copywriter got "beautified"... Man, now I know what KH's night job is...

The hottest chick in the agency people... Check out those arms and those huuuuuge boobs... *looks dolefully down at her own chest*

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Apparently, I'm not the only 1 who thinks K is hot. Judging from the bulges of their... errr... sarongs, C and J evidently think so too...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
It's somehow liberating when your MD becomes a "slave" for the night and gets whipped by his PA... Way to go boss, for being such a sport about it... *wink*

My brand new Canon Digital Ixus 700! (Which I just collected today. Uh huh! Wooooot! Yeaaaaah baaaaybeeee!)

As the night wore on and the drinks flowed more freely, the shirts started coming off...

Heh... I hate to leave everyone hanging but I'm afraid that's about it for now... There are more photos but I don't have copies of those yet and even if I did, I can't post them up unless I want to be threatened with bodily harm. *smirks* We'll see how it all goes, eh? :P

About Jacprilish

I just realised that my friends and I have so many weird phrases that we pepper our speech with, it's not surprising that the people around us don't understand what we're saying half the time. (Since most of these were coined in my conversations with my best friend, I've taken the liberty of labelling this rather strange language "Jacprilish", just for the ease of reference, you understand... *grin*)

Anyway... For the uninitiated, here's a quick rundown of the more commonly used terms in Jacprilish. ;) Let me just state that this list is in no way exhaustive and I will probably be adding to it on a regular basis. Heh...

Agro: Easily aggravated. E.g. "Woah... Why so agro girl?"
Cheena Gerk: Unflatteringly Chinese. Very similar in meaning to the phrase "MIC".
Emo: Emotional, full of emotions or overtly sappy. E.g. "That song's damn emo man..." or "I got all emo watching Sex and The City last night..."
Fwah: Substitute for "wah" or "wow", an expression of awe or surprise. E.g. "Fwah lan eh!" or "Fwah, that's damn nice!"
MIC: Made-in-China. Usually used in a derogatory context to refer to someone who looks like a country bumpkin. E.g. "He lookes like an MIC." or "Ewww, so MIC-looking!"
Mur: Abbreviation of the word "murmur". Used when 1 needs to mumble incoherently under 1's breath but doesn't really know what to say. E.g. "That stupid bitch just keeps droning on and on and I can't be bothered to listen and I just need to bitch but I'm running out of things to say murmurmurmurmur..."

Ngang: I have no idea how to explain this. Jac just leaned over to me 1 day, pretended to bite me several times and went "Ngang ngang ngang ngang ngang..." (Huh?! Yeah... I get that all the time...)
Ngiak: Let's put it this way. If a smirk had a sound attached to it, it'd be a "ngiak". Heh...
PG: No, not Parental Guidance. Phantom Girlfriend. She belongs to the species of "You know they exist but you don't know anything about them".
Twang: To shirk 1's responsibilities. E.g. "My colleagues twang-ed work today, all of em took sick leave.
VFM: "Value For Money". Pretty self-explanatory so 'nuff said.

About Nerdster

Found this on Princess Liliput's blog. Maybe 1 day I'll post up some of my secondary school photos and prove this test wrong. Heh...

Overall, you scored as follows:

I am nerdier than 3% of all people. Are you nerdier? Click here to find out!

97% scored higher (more nerdy), and 3% scored lower (less nerdy).

What does this mean? You're definitely not nerdy, you are probably cool.

About Chicky Cheezy

I'm too tired to head out for lunch, and my appetite seems to have disappeared again upon my return from Bali, which is a good thing cos I was pigging out big time while I was there!

It's kinda nice to spend a quiet hour in the agency. And although the useless bitch didn't go out for lunch either (Mainly because nobody wants to have lunch with her... And she shouldn't eat so much anyway, cos she's a fat cow and her back end's as wide as a bus! Meeeooowww!), it's still relatively peaceful. Maybe it's cos she was "sick" yesterday and her mouth hasn't recovered enough from sucking too much dick. *rolls eyes*

I am now debating on whether I should eat the chicken-flavored Cheezel Minis I bought by mistake. I wanted the cheesy ones, these taste like Chikadees! Sheesh! Heh, I know what you're thinking. Chicken-flavored? Cheezels? That's totally contradictory! Yes, yes, I totally agree. Somebody should seriously talk to the chappies at Arnott's.

Oh... And if you've never seen what Cheezel Minis look like, they're exactly like the original, but smaller. (Duhhhh! No shit Sherlock!) Hahaha... Very cute though.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

And I'm convinced they're less fattening since they come in tinier portions. (Shut up. I like being delusional!!!)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
This kid has the right idea... That's the BEST way to eat em...

So far, the only place I've seen Cheezel Minis being sold is Candy Empire at Millenia Walk. I swear that shop is like a PMS heaven and a dieting nightmare. I've never seen so much junk food sold under 1 roof since I left Melbourne! Heh... Which reminds me... Need to top up the chocolate supply in the office. Running dangerously low and April with a chocolate craving when she can't get her hands on any is not a pretty sight.

Update at 4.18pm...
I forgot to mention that the back of my Cheezel Minis box has several VERY LAME jokes, which I feel compelled to share. Never let it be said that I don't spread any wealth around. :P

Why did the chicken cross the road twice?
Because it was a double crosser.

What do chickens grow on?
Eggplants!

What do you call a rooster who crows at the same time every morning?
An alarm cluck!

Doi doi doiiiiiiiiiii... *bangs head on office desk*

About Plugging In (Part 2)

I've been in a lighter mood the past couple of days and the songs on my iPod's "On-The-Go" playlist have reflected that. No angst-filled 80s love songs this week... I've gone back to listening to catchy little pop numbers, most of which I blasted while studying in Melbourne. Think it's because they remind me of a really good time in my life. Heh...

About Booze Fests & Bikinis

Our Bali escapades, part 3... (For those of you who haven't been bored to death yet with my prattling! :P)

DAY 2 - SATURDAY, MAY 14, 2005 (CONTINUED)

Booze fest and boogie woogie...

8pm - 12am: The "Sarong Party Gala" was, in 1 word, EVENTFUL. Among the many, many things that happened? Hmmm...
1) 1 of our Account Managers turned up looking very sexy in his sarong dress, a flower adorning his ear and fake boobies. *wolf whistles*
2) 4 of us girls beat 2 strapping men at several rounds of 5-10, which resulted in the 2 guys downing several glasses of Absolut Raspberry *pumps fist in the air* Go us!
3) Our MD and ECD became "slaves" for a couple of hours, which meant that they had to do whatever their "masters" desired. The most memorable demand on them? A liplock! That little mouth-to-mouth action was captured on video. Haaaaaa! And no, I'm not posting it up. I still need my job. Bleah...
4) I won a Canon Ixus digital camera. Wooohooo! However, the prize I really wanted was the iPod Photo and the accompanying set of JBL speakers. Damn!
5) 1 of our Creative guys told me that he'd heard I looked very hot in a bikini. Hahahahaha! I don't care that he was probably lying. It felt good just hearing him say it. Uh huh... Hear that hissing sound people? That's my ego inflating to enormous proportions. :P
6) Everyone (And I mean everyone!) got really sloshed and, after a somewhat slow start, started crowding the small dance floor. I'm still trying to deal with the trauma of seeing my MD and ECD without their shirts on, head banging to "Sweet Child Of Mine".

Bikinis at midnight and bites before bed...

12.30am - 1.45am: Since I was starting to feel ill from the numerous shots of Absolut poured down my throat, I decided a late dip in the pool would be the best way to sober up. I slipped out of the resort's club, where the party had adjourned after the restaurant closed, and spent the next couple of hours happily splashing around.
2am: Everybody in the club stumbled out, utterly piss-faced. Those who weren't puking into the flower beds proceeded to throw themselves into the pool. Jas and I stayed on for a little while, but decided that it was time to head back to the room when we heard someone yell "Oi! {Insert Group Business Director's name here}'s only wearing his underwear and I can see his fucking butt crack!"... Which was rapidly followed by someone else screeching "Nah bei! Don't puke in the pool lah!!!"... Ooooook. That sure as hell gave us all the reason we needed to leave.
2.15am - 4am: Jas and I packed as we slurped up MSG in the form of Nissin Cup Noodles. Lots of deep, meaningful conversation... Well, at least, our chat started out that way... And got progressively less coherent as the night wore on. We finally fell asleep, well-satisfied with the knowledge that we had packed as much as we could have into our day...

Bending (And breaking!) the rules...

Missduhr referred to it as "canoodling". I'll be a lot more straightforward and say that fidelity had pretty much gone out the window by the 2nd night of the trip. We'd already heard about 2 cases of bed swopping the night before. And although all the parties involved were happily married, none were married to each other. :P

Ok, maybe most of the "canoodling" didn't go as far as holiday sex, but the bits I witnessed and experienced sure crossed all the lines of fidelity in my book. I seriously doubt I'd be ok with my boyfriend rubbing up against his female colleagues on the dance floor, wrapping his arms around them in the pool or groping their breasts and bums whenever the opportunity arose. And if I was a guy, I definately wouldn't be ok with my girlfriend allowing such behavior to go un-rebuffed.

Since the trip's sole motto was whatever happens in Bali stays in Bali (Yes, pun intended. Once again, ad agency, remember?), I won't go into further detail. Let's just say that Saturday night was an eye-opener in many aspects, and what I saw appalled more than it amused.

Maybe I'm becoming a fuddy duddy as I grow older but it disturbed me, seeing how easy it was for some to fool around and stray. Just because most of us had overindulged in the copious amounts of alcohol provided... Just because whatever happens in Bali stays in Bali... "Just because" just wasn't enough to make it acceptable... *shrugs* Let's leave it at that.

DAY 3 - SUNDAY, MAY 15, 2005

Bye bye Bali wali...

8.45am: I needed to check out by 9.30am so, after repeatedly hitting the SNOOZE button on my mobile phone, I finally dragged my butt out of bed and into the shower.
9.45am - 11am: Lingered over my last breakfast in Bali with Jas and Missduhr. More bacon and eggs and pancakes and hashbrowns! Burrrp! Yeahhh, bring on the weight baby! Jas and I also had a little discussion on how I should spend my remaining 166,000 Rupiah (Approximately S$30)... Ah heck. I'd already bought myself 3 bags from Mooks and Rusty. What's another 2 more? Hee!
11.10am: Swopped shopping stories with our Chinese copywriter all the way to the airport. Amazing how us girls can just yak and yak and yak and yak about the stuff we bought.
12pm - 1.25pm: Meandered rather aimlessly around Denpasar Airport, constantly checking the clock to see if it was time to board. I was looking forward to getting home, taking a shower and lazing in bed for as long as I could before work rolled round.
1.35pm: Bye bye Bali wali... Zoom zoom zoom... Wasted another 1.5 hours playing Super Mario.
3.15pm: Hello Singapore! Hello again DFS! Hello my own bottle of Absolut Raspberry! Heh... That completes my collection for now I think... All that's missing is the Raspberry miniature. Any kind souls out there willing to send me 1? :P
4.05pm: Home, sweet home... Yawwwwwn...

And there you go. That was my trip. Like I said... It was good. It was bad. It was crazy. It was relaxed. It was fun. It was boring. It was every 1 of those things rolled into an insane 48 hours. If that didn't come across in the last 3 blog entries... Well... You had to be there to truly understand. Heh.

*looks hopefully towards MD's office* So boss... Where're we going next? :P

About Bargains & Body Scrubs

Our Bali escapades, continued...

DAY 2 - SATURDAY, MAY 14, 2005

Breakfast and beach towels...

8.50am: Woke up refreshed and raring to go... Especially with the prospect of the resort's buffet breakfast awaiting us. I have a known weakness for buffet breakfasts, 1 that I only indulge when I'm on holiday. Bacon and scrambled eggs... French toast and waffles... Danishes and hashbrowns... Yum yum yummmmmm...
10.20am: Slicked myself down with tanning oil and stretched out next to the fattest woman I could find by the pool. (I figured I'd look skinnier, especially after that humongous breakfast, if I was lying next to a pseudo-hippo. Heh heh... :P) Spent the next hour doing absolutely nothing except soak up the sun.

Bali shopping and bargaining...

12.30pm: A quick shower later, Jas and I met my favorite Art Director-cum-Shang Hai Tan guru, Andrew, for lunch. Despite having had tons to eat for brekkie, I still managed a small portion of pasta, fruits and mandarin orange sherbet. The perfect meal to have with the hot weather we were experiencing.
2.35pm - 5pm: The much-anticipated shopping trip to Kuta... Jas and I managed, in that short 2.5-hour expedition, to buy our way through Mooks and all our favorite surf shops. We also amazed Andrew with our stony expressions while we haggled and bargained with the merchants and left Kuta with 2 tube tops, 1 jacket, 4 bags, 6 earrings, 1 necklace, 1 sarong and 1 pair of board shorts between us. (All together now... FWAH!)

Brilliant massages and body scrubs...

5.15pm: Dropped Andrew back at the hotel, after having decided on the spur of the moment to check out 1 of Bali's local spas. Our very nice cabbie then circled back and dropped Jas and me off at this place called Adi Spa...
5.30pm - 7.20pm: Groaned and whimpered in pleasure as I indulged in the spa's Javanese Lulur package, which included a traditional full body massage, a full body scrub, a moisturizing yoghurt treatment and a soak in a flower bath. (Ok... The disposable granny underwear and plastic shower caps they made us wear were highly unsexy... And the yoghurt treatment was bloody cold, seeing that we were practically naked in the air conditioned room... But hey, overall, it was all good... Especially since it only cost us S$80 each! *beams*)
7.30pm: Ran like mad back to our hotel room. Dinner had already started and we hadn't changed into our sarongs. Yes, there was an SPG theme... A "Sarong Party Gala". Sheesh. Ad agencies... Whaddya expect? :P I couldn't help but gawk a bit at the flowery wrap that had been provided, together with the "Dicky Sipping Straw" I'd received as a gag gift from the night before. (Yes, yes, photos will follow soon, I promise!)

Ah damn... Time to run off to work. Our MD was nice enough to give the entire agency half a day off today, so we only need to be at the office by 2pm. More details on the remainder of day 2 and all the crazy boozing we did coming up... Scandalous lah I tell you! Heh...

About Bonding & Bootcamp

Bali... Bonding sessions. Bootcamp. Beach towels. Booze fests.

3 days, 2 plane rides and a blink of an eye later, I'm back from our agency weekend retreat in Bali.

"How was it?" I hear you ask... Well... It was good. It was bad. It was crazy. It was relaxed. It was fun. It was boring. It was every 1 of those things rolled into an insane 48 hours.

DAY 1 - FRIDAY, MAY 13, 2005

Bloody early blastoff...

6.30am: Tumbled out of bed and into the bathroom, where I managed to keep awake long enough not to drown as I showered.
7.15am: Stumbled into a cab and tried to ignore the driver's incessantly chirpy chitter chatter for the next 25 minutes.
7.40am: Assembled at Changi Airport, T2, Row 4... Blurry-minded, sleepy-eyed and dying for a smoke.
8.20am - 9.15am: Wandered around DFS buying hordes of liquor and cigarettes. Chugged down a mocha latte while sucking on a cigarette at the Sunflower Garden smoking area.
9.35am: Took off. Spent the next 1.5 hours playing Super Mario World 3 and not eating the omelette the airline tried to pass off as food.
12.20pm: Touched down. Spent the next 45 minutes getting through dwaddling guards at Immigration and Customs.

Bonding sessions and bootcamp...

1.40pm: Arrived at Club Med Bali, Nusa Dua. (After spending 25 minutes enroute with a very sweaty tour guide! Eeewww... Hasn't this chap heard of the invention the rest of us called anti-perspirant?)
1.45pm: Got a rousing welcome from the staff and a lukewarm speech from the Village Director before we were led off to our rooms. Jas and I were in 3105, which was slightly better than Missduhr's room, which turned out to be a brisk 10 minute walk from the lobby.
2.30pm: Gobbled down some semblance of lunch at 1 of the resort's 3 restaurants.
3.30pm: Recongregated at the amphitheatre after hacking the sleeves and neckline off my agency-designed t-shirt, which had evidently been designed for hobbits and the 7 dwarfs.
3.45pm - 6.10pm: Played a series of "team games" organized by Club Med, which included all the usual activities I seem to recall from my primary school sports days. I thought I'd left the bunny hopping relays behind after I passed my PSLE... God, was I wrong!
6.15pm: Took a quick 30-minute dip in the pool, before hurrying back to the room to bathe and change for dinner.
7.30pm - 9.50pm: Fought off the yawns that threatened to dislocate my jaw as dinner dragged on and on... And on and on and on and o-o-o-Zzzzzzzzzzzz...
10pm: Found myself looking incredulously at Jas as we watched the resort's in-house actors/dancers massacre Michael Flatley's "Lord of the Dance".

Beddy bye bye...

10.30pm: Snuck back to haven 3105. Did not, however, manage to escape the Big Boss' demand to down an entire mug of beer... Which resulted in me burping beer for the next 2 hours. Ick.
12.15am or so: Fell asleep with the TV on, which probably wasn't as funny as Jas snoozing with the remains of her black cherry lollipop next to her pillow. :P

Heh... Ok, apparently, even after a 2-hour nap, I'm more tired than I thought. Let's just sum it up and say that the 1st day of Bali could have been a million times better than it was. The team games were juvenile in nature, and I seriously doubt they did anything but prove what arseholes some of the big guys were. I mean, you'd think that upper management would act their age, instead of behaving like 15yo boys with a chip on their shoulder and a major need to prove something, wouldn't you?

I also hated the way everything was so damn organized and timed. It felt more like a damn bootcamp than the holiday we were promised. Day 2 just couldn't get any worse, right? Hah... Details coming up in my next post... With photos! (Which I'll post up as soon as I consolidate everything we took! :P)

About Being Narcissistic

I love my Stats Counter. I don't know how my little blog survived this long without it. Heh... I mean, how else would I be able to pander to my humongous ego by reading little blurbs like this on what people have to say about "Absolutely April"?

Yes. I'm narcissistic. I love the fact that I'm a self-serving, self-centered, catty little full-of-angst bitch. Bite me. ;)

Side note to Adrock: You've been
linked too. You're "possibly offensive". Hahaha... Really? Gee, I couldn't tell. :P

Side note to Eng Kheng: Yes, the author is Singaporean. Unfortunately, I don't know how you got the idea that I'm not foul-mouthed. My friends and colleagues would be more than enthusiastic in telling you differently. Hahaha...

Ah well... Off to face another monstrous week at work.
4 more days to Bali... Haaaaaaaang on, April, haaaaaaang on!

About Mum

I remembered. Unfortunately, mum and I didn't get to head out for a nice long lunch like I planned, thanks to the lovely weather, that had the both of us sleeping in till some ungodly hour. I promised mum that I'd bring her out for lunch another day. She just smiled, patted my head and said, "It's ok girl, it's enough that you remembered..."

No mum... It's not enough. Whatever I do or say, it'll never be enough. I know I tend to take you for granted. I know I don't say "I love you" often enough. I know I should try to spend more time with you. I know all these things, and yet I find myself making excuses for not doing more. Because I know you'll love me anyway.

Well, I do love you mama... In spite of all our ups and downs and all the crazy times we've had, there's no one in the world I love more. We might have missed our little lunch date today but I'll make damn sure we have tons more to make up for it... Happy Mother's Day...

(Side note to LancerLord: I read the post on your mum. Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss, and my heartfelt thanks for making me realize, yet again, how thankful I should be for what I have.)

About The Brain

Taken from Princess Liliput's blog...

Look Ma... I'm a girl! Hahaha!

Your Brain is 86.67% Female, 13.33% Male

You have the brain of a girly girl.
Which isn't a bad thing at all.
You're emphatetic, caring, and in tune with emotions.
You're a good friend and give great advice.

About All Work & No Blog

Another late night at the office. The Big Boss manage to annoy me just before she waltzed out the door at around 1am with her parting comment...

"April?! Why are you still here? Do you have that much work? You don't seem to be that busy during the day!"

Bloody hell.

Yeah, I've been staying in the office every damn night till past 2am for the past 2 weeks cos I don't have a bloody life, don't have a home to go to, don't have friends / family / loved ones I'd rather be spending time with... Oh. And yeah. I'm not busy during the day. All I do is give myself pedicures, take 3-hour lunchbreaks, chit chat on MSN with 17 people at the same time...

It's got absolutely nothing to do with my Big Boss and her last minute "assignments". As for all the job folders piled on my desk? That's all for show. I really don't have any work on my plate and am just acting busy so that I seem competent and diligent. (Hah! Sounds like some bitch we know, eh? Ick.)

Fuckwit.

In my extreme state of annoyance, and semi-comatose blurriness, all I can think of to sum up / round up this post is...

不好玩的, 我不要玩了!

About The Others

Curiousity killed the cat. Or so they say. Well, the felines got lucky tonight I guess, because all it managed to kill in the last 45 minutes was my appetite...

I had 1 of those 3am cravings. For milo, of all things. Bumbling down to the kitchen, I make myself a nice cold glass of chocolatey goodness before heading back to my air-conditioned room to satisfy my desire for a late night "snack" and ward off this oppressive heat.

I was somewhat dismayed to see that there was nothing of interest on TV. "The Matrix Revolutions" was on HBO but I've never been a fan. So... Out of utter boredom, I decided to do a Google search for other "Absolutely April" webbies. A decision, I must say, I would soon regret.

INTRODUCING... THE 1ST OTHER

Even after my poor eyes adjusted enough to the see past the blinding, green mosaic background, I wasn't impressed. This girl's obviously in need of some HTML training. Oh... And a little lecture in taste and design would probably come in handy too.

Since staring at this for more than 10 seconds was a sure prelude to a migraine, I couldn't click my way out fast enough.

The next hit I got sure as hell wiped the sneer of my face though...

BRINGING YOU... THE 2ND OTHER

I should have seen this coming... Almost every other URL containing a female name is a porn site. Why should "Absolutely April" be any different? And in case you're wondering, no, I couldn't be bothered clicking through to find out what the site's exact contents are.

The last webbie though, didn't give me much of a choice on what I wanted to see...

(By the way, if you're easily offended, I seriously suggest you stop scrolling right about now. Eh wait a minute... *rolls eyes* If you're easily offended, I seriously doubt you should be reading my blog at all. Bleah...)

THANK GOD IT'S... THE LAST OTHER

And just in case you're dense, or blind, or dumb, and can't make out why I'm traumatized, take a closer look...

That is just sooooooooooo wrong. Ick... I couldn't bring myself to surf on after this. Hahaha... Didn't think I could deal with it if I stumbled upon an "Absolutely April" site dedicated to necrophilia or some other perversion. *shudders* Gross...

Unfortunately, by this time, the damage was already done. I didn't want my milo anymore. Hmmm... Maybe I should print that last picture and paste it in the kitchen. It'll be a mighty good deterrent to any unhealthy snacking I might be tempted to do in the future. Then again, maybe not... I doubt mom will understand my reasons behind it. But I definitely wanna lose weight before
my Bali trip! (Only 2 more weeks before I need to don my bikini. Ack!)

In the meantime... Any smart suggestions for a blog name or title I could use, 1 that couldn't possibly be in anyway pornographic?
