About The Fearless
What I am going to rave about is the movie's theme song... *grins unapologetically at The Stiletto* Here's a sneak peek...

Yes, I know the file quality could be better. To watch it all nice and clear on the big screen, make sure you turn up early for the movie. They showed it before all the ads and trailers when I was at GV Grand last night.
霍元甲 Fearless
Go Jay baaaaaaaaaaaaby!!!
Oh... And in case you haven't already seen it, here's the movie's trailer.

About The Weighing Scale
I've got half a mind to run down to Watsons after work and grab me some of that Extrim X... Or Tummitrim... Or Xando... Maybe all 3... Fucking hell, whatever works!
I'll say it right now. I won't exercise, I don't have the time or the inclination. I'm already contemplating liposuction, just don't have the dough to actually do it yet. I've tried the Cambridge Diet and since I'd rather starve to death than survive on chalkwater-trying-pass-off-as-soup, I hate it with a passion. I've thought about Mesotherapy, but the results are too unpredictable and varied for such an expense.
There's got to be some other way!!! Help!!!
Any recommendations?

About Going Tarty
They were yummy though. :)
Batch 3... You can so tell when The Stiletto and I started to get tired... We went from nice crisscross designs on the top of the tarts to smacking on single dots. Hahaha...
Then we decided to get creative with the last few tarts... Take a shot and guess which one I did? :P
Hahaha... For 周杰伦. (Yes, I couldn't be bothered to do all 3 characters... Heh...) Go Jay baby!!! Woot!!!
That's me on the left, and my grouchy boyfriend on the right. Heh... The Stiletto wasn't too happy about me and my "Jay-tart", especially with me giggling over how I was gonna eat "him" up. (The tart, you pervs!).
I decided to make a pineapple, ahmmm, pie, I guess you could call it. 1 about the size of my palm. Heh... This is proof that you can't have too much of a good thing.
About The Tired
I'm tired of constantly fighting fires that are not of my making. I'm tired of putting up with clients and their ridiculous demands. I'm tired of having to play nursemaid to people who can't seem to be responsible for the jobs on their plate.
I'm just plain tired.
I need a vacation. A long one. And it'd better be soon.

About The Galloping
GOBSMACKED.

What the fuck was OSIM thinking?! What the fuck was the advertising agency thinking?! That a commercial featuring a bunch of chicks riding what strongly resembles the infamous Sybian is in line with the brand's motto of promoting HEALTHY LIVING? (Don't ask me how I know about the Sybian. I'm a well-read girl. Haaaaaaaaaa! *bleah*)
As if that wasn't bad enough, check out the iGallop writeup on the OSIM website.
Introducing OSIM iGallop, the revolutionary horse-riding exercise that will give you the shapely figure you want, effortlessly and lets you have fun doing it!
This introduction paragraph alone should have given me ample warning that plenty of shit was going to follow... *smacks forehead repeatedly*
Tri-Axial Horse Riding Action - The unique Tri-Axial Horse Riding Action of the iGallop mimics the distinct trot of a horse in its front, back and lateral movements.
*mutter* I'll show them front, back and lateral movements... Morons. *flashes the middle finger 3 times*
Adopt a striking posture - By replicating the rhythmic movements of horse-riding, OSIM iGallop causes reciprocal pelvic movements in the rider.
Hahaha... I know of something else that could cause reciprocal pelvic movements!
Looking great and feeling even better - Muscles are worked and blood circulation improved, promoting the well-being of the whole body.
Gee... It sounds almost like taichi, isn't it? NOT!
$998.00 with free gift
If anybody's bought this WONDERFUL contraption, please please pleeeeeeeeeease leave me a comment and tell me what the free gift was. Especially if it's something like lubricant! *snigger*
About The 1

Tick tock... It was exactly a year ago that I started blogging, thanks to Missduhr and Pink Martiny. Absolutely April is 1 year old today... In line with my narcissistic nature, here's me saying "Happy birthday to me"... *beams*

About The Bump
Yes, I've seen a doctor about this. I've seen tons of bloody doctors... I've had 2 x-rays done... *mimics doctors* "No, April, there's absolutely nothing wrong with your spine... It shouldn't hurt as badly as you claim it does..." (Well it does you fuckwits!)
I've also paid a visit to traditional Chinese sinsehs, which were a total waste of time and money. The last 1 I went to put me under a hot lamp for 5 minutes, cracked my back once, wrapped me in some smelly bandage and sent me off home... (Not without a fee of $22, mind you!) He didn't even ask for my back problem history, I was in and out of his smelly little "clinic" within 10 minutes. Bloodsucking bastard.
If I'm hobbling around in pain at the age of 27, I can only imagine what I'll be like at the ripe ol' age of 40... Probably resemble something like this...

Good ol' Quasimodo.
Fuck.

About The "Eh-Sha"
Not too sure how many of you have seen this... I thought it was bloody hilarious!
:P This is Bobby Lee of Mad TV as Sayuri in The Memoirs of A Geisha... (Aside to PL: So dahling, when are we watching the actual thing? Heh heh...)

About The Stiletto

I think we just had the laziest weekend known to man. Seriously. Little else was done besides eating (Old Chang Kee and Tian Tian Steamboat kick ass!), sleeping and mooching around in front of the comp / TV.
Aside to The Stiletto: Cannot lah babe... We gotta get out more. I'm putting on too much bloody weight as it is! Argh...

About The Holiday Recap
It's been sort of crazy so far and I'm kinda exhausted. 3 days into the work week, and I can't seem to get back into the swing of things. Which is bad seeing that I have so much work piled up on my desk, it's a wonder my papers haven't toppled over to drown me where I sit. I've been working late every damn night, but it doesn't seem to end...
On a brighter note, I had a good break over X'mas and the New Year holidays. I spent time with friends and loved ones, slept in till ungodly hours and ate like a pig.
The Stiletto and I had initially agreed that we wouldn't spend any money on each other for X'mas. Which, in my book at least, meant that we wouldn't bother killing ourselves fighting with the crowds in town to shop for each other's gift. Then... barely 2 days before X'mas, he announces that he needs to run some errands, 1 of which was picking up my gift.
I was totally annoyed... Both at the fact that he'd broken the "no-spend" rule and at the thought that I had to eke time out of my crazy schedule to go shopping too. He was adamant that he hadn't spent a cent... (Not that I believed him, of course. :P)
The annoyance, however, didn't stand a chance once I opened the pretty embroidered bag he handed to me on X'mas eve... And pulled out a gorgeous mosaic tile mirror with my initials on it that he'd made himself at a friend's shop.

Apparently, he'd spent every lunch hour over the last week working on having it ready by X'mas. At the risk of sounding like a gushing, simpering twit, I'll be frank and admit that I melted like an ice cream cone left out in the sun. :)
Oh. I ended up getting him a wallet from Hugo Boss. (So much for the "no-spend" rule, eh?) Of course, it being me, even that wasn't without it's fair share of theatrics... There was a Mainland Chinese woman before me at the counter, and she ended up walking off with my parcel. Unfortunately, in my mad rush to get back to work, I didn't realise what had happened till The Stiletto opened up the bag the following night and pulled out a pair of cufflinks!
Thank god Hugo Boss was able to replace it... I later found out from a friend who works at the store that the cufflinks were worth only a third of what the wallet cost. So no surprises that the bloody MIC cow didn't bother coming back to rectify her mistake...
X'mas eve was spent gorging myself silly at home before getting all tiddly at Zouk with The Stiletto, PL and S... I then stayed over at his place for the 1st time. Heh... 1 small step for me, 1 big step for... :P
NYE, unfortunately, was a bit of a fiasco. Dinner at my place was good. (The gang and I stuffed out faces with my maid's excellent chicken rice and roast pork.) It was what happened after that was the major letdown. You'd think I would've learned my lesson by now and avoid any club or pub on the 31st of December. I haven't. We spent the countdown at a friend's place watching ships fire red and yellow flares into the night sky before heading down to the madhouse known as Velvet.
Big mistake.
All of us were still stone cold sober at 3am, and thoroughly pissed off with getting shoved around and stomped on. 4am saw us at Balestier's Boon Tong Kee, wolfing down deep fried tofu and more chicken rice.
Fast forward to 1 January. The Stiletto had offered to cook me my favorite pasta dish. When a man (Who claims to be a great cook!) offers to do both the cooking and cleaning up, how could any girl of sane mind say no? Deciding to "spread the wealth", I asked E, PL and S over as well for a few rounds of mahjong while we ate. The aglio olio was fantastic, the mahjong wasn't. (Yes, yes, I lost money... *grumbles*) ;)
Oops. I just looked at my room clock. I'm going to be late for work. Gotta run.
