About Crazy Cranium

Oh gawd. Just spent the whole night playing this totally kick-ass game called "Cranium" with my boss and colleagues and we had the wackiest time. If you've never heard of it (I hadn't...), here's an exerpt from the review given by Toysrus.com & Amazon.com...

"Spell a word backwards, hum a tune, answer a multiple-choice question, draw with your eyes closed, and more when you play Cranium.

Cards from four decks, color-coded to match each of the crazy characters - Star Performer, Creative Cat, Data Head, and Word Worm - describe activities that teams must complete in order to advance around the board. If you choose a Sculptorades card from the Creative Cat deck, for example, you might be asked to sculpt a hamburger from lemon-scented Cranium Clay while your teammates try to guess what you're creating.

To win the game, teams have to make it to Cranium Central - the large purple brain in the center of the board - and then successfully complete one activity from each of the four decks. The result is that the team with the best combination of abilities comes out on top."

It was freaking hilarious to watch The Boss try to sculpt the Leaning Tower of Pisa from a mangled purple lump of plasticine. Missduhr, too, was extremely entertaining with her impression of a platform shoe. *cackles like a loon*

I had such a blast, I reckon it's a game I'm gonna end up getting for myself... It's the perfect game to play with a large group of friends the next time you're stumped for something to do. I guarantee you'll end up laughing yourselves silly. We sure as hell did...

Can't wait till the next round guys! (Even though I so know that I've put on 5 pounds from K's chocolate fondue!) Heh... :P
